Awesome event here at the TWA Fund raise last night. Had a great time. I hope to have some photos here soon. Here's a post from my facebook wall.
"Had a great time last night at the TWA fund raising event. Everyone has come out to support the TWA and I am very thankful for that.
The real highlight for me last night was meeting some Tibetans who have come from Tibet. I met with approximately 6 to 10 students who are studying here in the U.S and returning back home to Tibet. I was extremely happy to have that opportunity to interact with them for 5 minutes. I thank you all for coming all the way from all over the U.S. to be at the event and meet with me. You made my day. You made me feel like I had 5 minutes of my life inside Tibet, through this interaction; even though this was happening in the backstage of an auditorium here in NYC. My best wishes to you. Have a safe and a happy journey back home. I will forever remember your each of your faces and treasure the moment.
I hope to have some photos from the event here. Incase you guys have some photos to share for other fans, feel free to Tag it here as well. Those who were not in the audience will appreciate it.

Hello and Tashi Delek to all
Its been ages since I was last here. I hope everyone is doing wonderful and waiting for the Xmas and the New Year bashes to follow soon. I have been well, busy, and haven't had much time to come in here to update my boring life :)
Well the good news is that I'll be in New York to support the Tibetan Women's Association's annual fundraising drive on the 24th of December. I am looking forward to seeing all my old friends and spending sometime with them. So, if you are living in and around the New York area, do stop by the Armenian church to support the Local TWA with their annual fund raising drive for all the political and non-political projects they initiate throughout the year. The only way our organizations are able to stand up for Tibet and Tibetans is through your generous support and donations. So we must continue to support our organizations in these difficult times. Be there for them, when they need us the most. So, I hope to see a maximum turn out at the prayer session in the afternoon and the evening concert as well.
Initially I was planning to release a Musical Album, and do a mini-tour in India during the Kalachakra 2012. But due to the recent sad news from Tibet, and along with my busy schedule; I have cancelled all my plans. It will be a quiet start of the year for me and my music, to pay tribute to those who have sacrificed their life for Tibetans all over the world.
I wish you and your loved ones a very happy holidays. Be Safe and Enjoy !!!

Xzlala: The photo was not taken with a mirror. The "Thank You" photo was taken from my webcam. From my laptop. You know how it works. right ? You write the letters and print it. Then you hold the paper in your hand and look at the web cam to take the picture :) Hope that clears up your confusion.

Hello All,
Well, I am back from my short european tour over the past week. Had a wonderful time. As promised, I have taken and posted many pictures here for your viewing pleasure. Some of the photos were taken by my frd Dawa, and Pierre. Big thanks for sending the photo to me.
Swastika: Yes, i understand what you were saying about the songs and the copyright issues. Atleast, if they credit me for my original work, thats better than not crediting at all. So may be someday, i'll start seeing some credits for my original compositions :)

Ahhhhh.... It feels like a million years since I last came in here to update about me and my music. I hope everyone is doing well. I've been busy with my life and other things around me.
This weekend was quite hectic in town. Two of my frds were over for a concert here in Minneapolis, being organized by the local TYC. Its always good to see olf friends. The concert went well. Had a great time with frds and organizers. Here are some of the pictures we've taken in my backyard. My cousin sisters and neices were dying to take some pictures with them, so we had to just take some together.

End of this week, I'll be off to Paris and Switzerland for few concerts. Looking forward to seeing as many fans as possible at all the events. Good to have a week off and get out and about. I hope to take lots of pictures to share it with my friends and fans online.

Good Day, All
Sorry for the long wait in seeing some of the pictures i've taken from my last trip to Washington. I am happy to upload some of the pictures i've taken with some old frds in the backstage during the concert. Most of these are former and current artists of the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts, in Dharamshala India. The picture of the group of girls are local Tibetan girls who were kind enough to volunteer and help me with my cd sale during the concert. And they did a marvelous job. I am very thankful for them.
Long Long, Xzala and many others who have wished me on my birthday on facebook and in my emails, i would like to thank you for all the warm wishes.
I was in Duluth, Minnesota over my birthday and it was beautiful. I will upload some pictures from that trip on this site soon as well. But it'll just be some nature scenes and few pictures of myself.

Apologize for the silence over the last few days. Been busy with a lot happening in my personal life. I had a great time in DC over weekend of the 16th. Met many old friends from all over the world. Had some pictures taken with them and will soon upload them on here. (Long Long: I saw your guestbook entry about the pictures). So i shall upload them soon.

Jeee.... Its already July 1st. Half of the year is gone. Crazy.
Well, I wanted to come in here and update the page with few remarks in my guestbook. Now the dilemma is that I am not sure where these visitors have entered my guestbook from. From Potalasound.com or from my other website. So i am confused, where to update this. Ha... But its really not fun for me to update both my website with the same message. Its simply boring for some visitors, but then again, may be different visitors check out different pages. oh well. Enough of this guessing work. The other website is just for listening to music. and this is for messages and updates as well. We'll see how it goes.

Happy Sunday !
Had a brilliant saturday here in Minnesota. Happy and Blessed !!! Dalai Lama was in town and we woke up bright and early to line up to get in the arena where Kundun was to meet briefly with the local Tibetans and Tibetans from the nearby states. Was there from 8 AM to about 11 AM. There was various performances by the local Tibetan dance students, along with the performance from the TIPA (Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts).
Kundun arrived around 10 AM i beleive and was looking and feeling younger and more energetic, despite his hectic schedule. He enjoyed the performances by the Local Tibetans and appreciated the work of Tibetans here in Minnesota in promoting Tibetan cause and culture, while building a strong bridge with the local people.

After Kundun left the building, the Tibetan community stayed back and celebrated the whole day with dances, games, and other activities. But i left right after His holiness left the building. I am not a morning person. So i had to catch up on my sleep, and yes, i was super hungry as well :) So there was no time to sit back and watch the dances and the games.
Then in the evening, I got a call from an old frd who said he's in town as well, from another state. So i had to pick up his family from a hotel and we went to watch a concert by TIPA (Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts). It was amazing. I watched the first version of this show called "KIPO", a while back. but this one is being performed by TIPA and it turned out to be much more professional and better. Not to take away anything from the other performers; they did exteremly well for their own level of expertise and experience in music and entertainment. Anyway, we had a great time at the concert.
After the show, I had to go to the backstage and congratulate them on job well done, since i know most of these performers. So it was good to see them again, and congratulate them on a wonderful performance.

Well, thats my weekend, now you tell me what you did ? lol j/k. Anyway, hope you all are having a wonderful day. After i update this website, i'll be visiting some other friends who have come over from the near by states to watch and listen to His Holiness. May be we'll go out for a coffee or something :)

XZLALA: Cici wrote me that you and long long were able to log on my website at some time of the day. So No, i am not surprised that you are able to log in my site from China, even though it remained to be a blocked site there. I am currently thinking about different options to move my site somewhere, so it won't be BANNED IN CHINA or TIBET again. When i find a good solution, i'll work on it right away. In the mean time, Hope all is well with you. Keep well.
LONG LONG: I already wrote my songs in English to PROFY in the Facebook. So he has received the songs. Let me know if you guys are looking for my songs written in english, so you can sing along phonetically.
I am bit disappointed lately that my site is now banned inside Tibet/ China, so i have lost a bit of my motivation to update this blog anymore for my strong fan base in Tibet and China; for they can't see it anyway. Like i mentioned, i will keep exploring other options and find out some ways to get a blog up again.

Dear Friends and Fans, back home in Tibet and China
Today was a very successful sunday for me. ^_^ I was able to extract, convert, and upload many of my concert videos on my site from youtube, so you can watch them. Since youtube is partially blocked in most of China and Tibet, these videos are inaccessible to many of you inside TIbet and China. I hope you'll enjoy each one of them.
Special thanks to my friend Sviatlana Tsiaseika for taking most of these videos shots during concerts in NYC and uploading them on youtube. Without your help and resources, this is not possible for me or my fans inside Tibet and China.
I'd also like to Thank few other fans, who have created some of these videos that i've extracted and uploaded on my site. Thank You for taking time doing these. It means a lot to me and my fans inside Tibet and China. There are many other fans who have created videos and uploaded them on youtube, i just haven't had time to extract all of them. I will use them later. Thank you for each one of you as well.
